These items are saved in your browser's local storage, on your own device. They are never sent to Garden Sums or to anyone else, and they are only read by this site.
| Name | What it holds | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
gs:v1:units | "metric" or "imperial" | Shows measurements in metres or in feet and inches, as you last chose. | Until you delete it |
gs:v1:calc:<calculator> | Your last measurements and settings on that calculator | Lets the Restore last calculation button bring them back. | Until you delete it |
Because these items are needed for features you ask for, and stay on your device, they do not need your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations or Spain's equivalent law. You can still delete them at any time.
You can also clear them through your browser's settings, under site data or cookies. Private or incognito windows delete them when you close the window.
